Brand Identity, Campaigns, Environmental
(from 2018 onwards)
Founded in 2014, the association Musée Replay is dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of digital culture, computer and video games through the organization of many exhibitions, while working on the forthcoming opening of a permanent museum space in the Bordeaux region.
The association continues since its creation a work of collection, archiving, restoration and maintenance of old machines, ephemeral witnesses of an evolution of digital technologies ever faster. It has now an important collection background consisting of several thousand computers, games, softwares, extensions and documentation. It is a part of this collection that the association enthusiastically presents to the public during the many cultural events it organizes.
Every year they work in partnership with various structures (media libraries, universities, cultural centers, festivals, shops, private partners, etc.).
For this reason, besides video games, the museum actions more generally include the history of digital technologies and computer science. "We insist on the importance of preserving and promoting this heritage, in order to transmit it to an ever more curious and inquiring public facing this history. The communication is an essential component of the museum action."
The visual identity combine modern clarity and retro gaming inspiration. Thanks to Intersect A–B, a font designed by MuirMcNeil, each exhibition and support developed new pattern based on the original font. Its construction system allows interaction and layering giving endless variations.
